Tips
The best betting tip is don't bet. But if you must gamble, inform yourself
with as much information as you can about what it is you are gambling
on. For instance, if you are betting on a horse race, learn a bit about
the current form of the runners. It is fine choosing a horse because
you like its colour or you think the name is lucky, but what you are
really doing is dipping your hand in a lucky dip and are blind to the
choice you are making - mind you it is fun, but only bet what you can
easily afford to lose. If you are gambling on Poker or Blackjack or
any card game for that matter, learn the game first by playing for matchsticks
with your friends, be patient and wait until you are really good before
you test yourself by playing for money. If you want to gamble on games
like Roulette, well, good luck, but it is pot luck, but I guess pot
luck is what gambling is all about... But, in truth, if you take the
time to learn about whatever it is you intend to gamble on you should
improve your odds...
